The Brookwood Musconetcong River Property Owners' Association was founded in the early 1950's when Herman Frank purchased a total of 6 lots in Brookwood Musconetcong River Estates, a new developement in Stanhope, New Jersey. Today, we know the area as West Brookwood, in the Township of Byram.
To insure the present and future character and welfare of the land that comprised Brookwood Musconetcong River Estates, the developer, Brookwood Musconetcong River Corporation, formed the Brookwood Musconetcong River Property Owners' Association, Inc.
